AMBIG-

UITIES

For the great British writer/artist Patrick                   Hughes

A bomb discourages a movie audience.

A child’s stool enhances any garden.

A convicted thief gets nine months in his coffin case.

A cool head.

A creep is slow.

A crooked contract.

A large trailer can be a transient hotel.

A party they had all night.

A penny’s worth.

A platoon beheading.

A shot off my opponents head scores.

A puny foundation.

About face.

Absent mind.

Abusing muse.

Acid test.

Acting out.

Activities end.

Affirm inaction.

Aged appearance.

Aim less.

Alien corn.

All hail.

All wrong.

Also ran.

Aluminum foils.

Am I.

Amusing children.

Anal pleasures.

Anarchist protests.

Ancient grudge.

Ancients’ history.

Angel feeds.

Anger management.

Animal rights.

Animated characters dominated the film.

Answers he demanded.

Antipenultimate.

Anxiety attacks.

Any minute now.

Arithmetic measures.

Armed response.

Arranged marriage.

Art works.

Ash cans.

Astronomical heights.

Athletic facility.

Attention must be paid.

Attracting women.

Autumn leaves.

Awful noise.

Awfully awful.
