THE WIND WALKERS


Hon, another left, and you can ALMOST hear
The dirtygrass songs painted across those faded denims.
Oh, and and and you'd LOVEEE to see
The eutrophicated water candoodle with ther little toes...
Umm.. like the tea steam becomes one with the monsoon wind
When we accidentally leave the kitchen window ajar? Exactly like that.

And when you see their crazy imagination
Sky-write
Playful sonnets and Odes
In pink candy-floss and peach softie scoops,
Make sure you remember the TASTE
Of their virgin minds.

 

PHANTOM ITCH

Four spoon-fulls of shared  monsoons
Gift-wrapped with paper-crackled glee;
Myriad strokes of 'narangi', 'kachha aam', and 'kalakhatta'
Painted across multi-hued tongues;
Two rain-drenched souls with midnight-blue textured smiles
Challenge a fate that polestars their
