YES, WE CAN SEE
If we can see the underside
of the beautiful yellow and
black striped wings of
a butterfly darting in and
out among the bushes
alongside the wooden walk,
and we can feel the gentle
breeze touching and moving
the glossy green leaves
of the shade trees, and also
know the smooth cool taste
of water in the fresh-running
stream, then, perhaps, we can
be, like the young, open
to the world surrounding us.
